Martin Saravia was born in New York and lived there until the age of ten. He then moved with his family to Buenos Aires, Argentina, where he lived for several years before returning to the US to attend college in California. He earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Sports Management from Menlo College, where he was a starter on the varsity soccer team.
Martin is all about sports, they are his passion! He has extensive knowledge and expertise in many different sports and in the industry as a whole. He knew he wanted to work in the field of sports from a young age. His experiences include having worked for leading global sports agencies, highly ranked professional teams as well as major league tournaments.
He has been actively involved in different capacities in multiple professional tennis tournaments, amongst them: SAP Open, Bank of the West Classic, the Miami and US Open Championships. While working for IMG Tournaments, he was involved and fulfilled managerial functions in various areas of their staged events, including sponsorship, hospitality, sales, marketing, and operations.
His passion for soccer developed while living in Argentina, where he worked for the two most well-known teams of the country, River Plate and Boca Juniors. He worked in their sales, social media management, sponsorships, and marketing areas.
At GR8, Martin is Director of Sports, a position from where he continues to create, develop and deliver truly unique sports experiences. Under his management, the area is constantly innovating as it seeks to deliver new memorable and valuable experiences for clients and partners and is currently completing the final stages of development of a new and unique golf project that GR8 is producing and will stage in the near future.
