Steve Horan
Steve Horan was born in Newport, Rhode Island, the smallest of the 50 States and home to the Tennis Hall of Fame. Maybe that’s part of what motivated him to explore the world after college. Steve has traveled to more than 70 countries and is familiar with the many customs and cultures of all people. Steve self-financed his travels by teaching tennis and also by training Chef de Rangs on how to perform tableside cooking with white glove, silver service. He worked for the Hilton Hotels in both London and Sydney and the Carlton in Johannesburg. After traveling the world for nine years, Steve worked as CEO of a luxury travel management company and then went on to work for American Express where he served on the Advisory Board of American Express Vacations; marketing to both Platinum and Centurion card members. In addition to ultra-luxury travel, he has a background in business travel, incentive travel, meetings & events. Steve also volunteered as Chair of Travel industry donation committees for both the American Heart Association and the American Cancer Society. Steve’s favorite experience was climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro and he still enjoys staying connected to the many wonderful people he has met throughout his travels.
Steve’s role at GR8 is connecting B2B opportunities; offering unique and exclusive access to ‘Once in a Lifetime’ passions and interests; those same experiences as developed and customized by our expert experiential designers; specifically, for our most discerning clientele.
